Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) providers in the course of an engagement while using the company's senior professionals at a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric examinations.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of your registered pupils while in the training sector.
These learners achieved a commendable pass rate of 86%.
